Tidybase ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

What we collect

When you create a Tidybase account, we collect your email address and password. When you use the app, we store the data you enter, including client names, addresses, phone numbers, job details, team member information, and scheduling data. We also collect basic usage analytics (page views, device type, country) through Vercel Analytics to improve the app.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the Tidybase service. Your client and business data is yours — we don't analyze it, sell it, or share it with third parties. We use your email address to send account-related emails (confirmations, password resets) and, occasionally, important product updates. We will never send marketing emails without your consent.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI compliance standards.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on Amazon Web Services) in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your account, which removes all associated data from our systems. You can unsubscribe from any emails by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly.

Cookies

Tidybase uses essential cookies only — for authentication (keeping you logged in) and basic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Tidybase: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Resend (transactional emails). Each operates under their own privacy policy.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible on the free plan.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of Tidybase after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
